Passing Judgment: Posh & Becks Should Go Back To The Land Where Fries Are Called Chips
July 12th, 2007 by NextRound
When the news first broke a couple of months ago that David Beckham was coming to America to play for some MLS team that nobody–outside of a couple thousand in-denial soccer fans–in this country cares about, we didn’t think twice about it. We don’t care about soccer, we’ve never had any beef with Beckham, and we think Posh peaked in 1997, so we gave their migration to the US about as much thought as we gave our last one night stand (not much).
But now all of a sudden we’re getting bombarded by the two of them. Beckham’s showing up in ads with Reggie Bush. He’s endorsing anything that will plaster his mug on a billboard. Posh is taking up space on our favorite pretty lady websites looking like some uber-creepy fifteen year old boy with scoliosis. They’re doing weird magazine spreads. We turn on Sportscenter to see an LA Galaxy opening game countdown and hear Alexi Lalas claim Beckham will end up being bigger in this country than MJ. (As far as we’re concerned that’s sacrilege and Lalas should be found guilty of treason and exported to Canada like yesterday.)
And what pisses us off the most is that no one seems to understand
that both Beckham and Posh are way past their primes. They’re used goods. The UK has already ran through them. There’s more than enough evidence all over the world wide web that Posh resembles a tranny a little bit more with each passing day. And from what we overheard a few British guys discussing at a pub recently, Beckham’s old and a few corner kicks from being irrelevant on the soccer field.
So don’t fall for it. Don’t buy in. Boycott whatever you can that involves these imports and hopefully they’ll be out of the picture soon. Our ancestors left the land of bad teeth for a reason. We’re better than British sloppy seconds.

I truely beleive that David Beckham is dragging Posh down. Soccer will never dominate in the States and we resent that he is getting any “respect” or acknowledgement for his “skills”. Posh has proved she will go the distance, when she uprgaded her front, she has low enough self - esteem to go back with her loser husband after he went out for some “STRANGE”, then she one ups herself to reprise her role as POSH spice. Now I enjoy girls dressing up as sluts and convincing other girls that it is a great idea cause it promotes “girl power” (better then the bitches that grow out the leg and arm hair and won’t give blow jobs), BUT even she can’;t believe that the SPICE girls were ever famous enough to demand an encore. I just hope she is here for enough time to ruin her marage by getting caught on tape with Lyndsay Lohan. Like Martin Luther King, I too have a dream…….

Dudes- aren’t we missing something here? shouldn’t we begrudgingly give Mr. Beckham a handful of respect…if not for the mere fact that every and i mean EVERY woman on the planet would fall at his feet in worship (that includes your wives and GF’s…don’t think they wouldn’t jump at the chance to ruin your marriage/relationship w/ him)…but for the exact statement above. the guy wanted some strange, banged his 23yr old nanny (awesome), got caught, and still had enough sway to get his wife to suck it up and keep her mouth shut. No press conferences…nothin’. Koby couldn’t f*ckin’ do that….p*ssy.

Yo, we totally get that angle AND totally respect that Beckham could hand the business to more chicks in a day than we could in a year, most likely our lifetime.
Our issue is having “Posh & Becks” shoved down our throats. We totally agree he’s a money dude, but is he going to save soccer in America? No. Is Posh talented or going to ever contribute anything to the US besides crappy Paris Hilton-esque headlines? No. We just don’t like the media determining these people are awesome for us.
Beckham does get mad props for getting the strange with no repercussions though. That’s tremendous.

he did buy his in-laws some range rovers for his “side dish”. Which would be th eequivalent of me having to buy mine a can of skoal and and pair of nikes (the nikes would be for my father in law)…..
