So you run an Army baseball camp for 7 to 14 year old kids and you manage to land Charlie Hustle as a guest speaker to talk to the kids. Sweet! What a score! Pete Rose. The hit king. You’re probably in line for a Purple Heart or some shit for pulling off this coup.

But hold on a second…

You better first make sure you have the stones to deal with Pete’s realness. Because when Pete shows up to the camp (probably six to seven Wild Turkeys deep) and pretty much acts like the dirty ass old man he is for an hour it’s your fault if you get all bent out of shape.

Staff Sgt. Steven Tischer (aka the guy who ran the camp and asked Pete to speak) told the Cincinnati Enquirer:

“It was such an embarrassment. You don’t swear in front of kids, that’s just common sense. He dropped the F-bomb and the S-bomb. He told them winning is everything and if you get second place you’re just losers”

Sounds to us like the Staff Sgt. needs to strap on a pair. The guy obviously doesn’t know a money motivational speech when he hears one. Probably why he’s in that second place category at life.

Oh, and there’s this bitch of a mom who started complaining to reporters:

“He asked the kids to just ‘forgive his French,’ but there was hardly a word they didn’t hear from the bad language dictionary…His comment that he saw Joe DiMaggio in the shower and he saw more of him than Marilyn Monroe ever did…It was like an uncle at Thanksgiving you want to stick in a back corner.”

This bitch needs to lighten the fuck up. Pete is being Pete. And that means he’s being awesome. When her son ends up bringing home his college roommate for Christmas and then introducing him as his boyfriend, it won’t be Pete’s fault.
