Anna Faris falls into that special category of chicks that got hot without really notifying anyone. We like to refer to it as SSP (Sophomore Summer Phenomenon) in honor of that unassuming girl with an OK personality in high school that showed up to the first day of school sophomore year six inches taller with a tremendous new rack.

The key to SSP is being unaware of the transformation. You have to all of a sudden catch a glimpse of the new version and immediately want to pummel it.

Anna’s metamorphosis is especially impressive when you consider she got her start in the original “Scary Movie” where she looked like a wiry teenage boy (pictured below).  

You know the transition is official now that she’s been cast as an ex-Playboy bunny in some soon-to-be terrible movie that’s being filmed as we speak (hence the pink bikini photos). She’s a nice pair of fakies away from challenging for a position in our top ten.

Next on the list is to get Anna to make a movie that is remotely watchable. She was in “Just Friends” AND “My Super Ex-Girlfriend”, both of which we’ve heard from a reliable source are currently being employed numerous ways in Guantanamo. Seriously, check out her IMDB page. She loves a good crapfest.

And don’t even mention her current role on “Entourage”. That show is just about dead to us. We’ve been doing our best not to write about it. It manages to get worse each week (for further evidence that “Entourage” is toast click here). Anna’s appearance may be the nail in the coffin.

So Anna, here’s to you aging like a fine wine. Here’s to the marvels of modern science. Here’s to the set of fakies that are surely on their way. Here’s to you having Jessica Alba’s agent. And here’s to the return of Hump Day.
