We’ve pictured Jenn Sterger and the other FSU cowgirls on several occasions in association with our college football content, but we’ve never really properly analyzed the prostitute woman that is Jenn Sterger.

And seeing that she has just been sacked by SI.com from her sports(?) column and has most likely lost her last shred of relevance therefore ending her fifteen minutes, it seemed like a good time to dig a little deeper.

Jenn Sterger is quite an interesting case. Almost overnight she became an internet phenomenon based entirely on her over-the-top slootiness, her way-cool artificial enhancement, and simply being in the right place at the right time. (For the record, we don’t think there’s anything wrong with any of those things, in fact we encourage all of them.)

None of this would be all that puzzling except that if you’ve ever visited Tallahassee you’d realize that 10% of the chicks there eclipse Jenn Sterger on the Porno Hotness Scale. One of the many reasons we’re considering relocating NR headquarters to the panhandle.

JB probably provided the best Sterger analysis:

“That chick was only hired (by SI) cause she happened to have good seats for that particular game and caught the camera’s eye. In all actuality she’s only about a 7 or 8 in Tallahassee, probably been pummeled by FSU’s front 5, thanks for coming out, etc. Outside of being given the business, she is totally worthless.“

So what was her allure?

College football meets breast augmentation meets willingness to dress like a whore? Most likely.

That’s a pretty rock solid combo if your goal is to have every football crazed dude in the nation thinking about demoralizing you.

The only piece of the puzzle we’re missing is which horny bastard in the corner office at SI got to capitalize on Jenn’s willingness to stay relevant (i.e. give her a make believe internet column). That we may never know. But we heard it’s Rick Reilly.
