Hump Day: Minka Kelly

November 7th, 2007 by NextRound

minka kellyIn case you’re not familiar with “Friday Night Lights”, Minka Kelly is one of the primary reasons you should be.

She plays the hottie cheerleader, the one with the high school football obsessed, sleazy car dealer dad and the paraplegic former quarterback ex-boyfriend that she cheated on.

Yeah, that’s right. Shit gets real on “FNL”. It’s a good thing Minka’s around to perk up the joint.

And for all of you beginning to perspire as you relive your recent close encounter with “To Catch a Predator”, no need for concern here: Minka is 27. She only plays a 17-year old cheerleader on network television.

Outside of being exceptionally bone-worthy based on her physical attributes alone, Minka strengthens her Hump Day qualifications by A) playing a character who’s recently become super religious in light of her past transgressions, and B) having bizarre taste in the famous dudes she dates.

Minka used to be linked to Donald Faison (the dude from “Scrubs, who we have no beef with but think it’s a little odd he used to tag it) and now is apparently allowing John Mayer to dissatisfy her on a regular basis.

Man, talk about a chick asking for enlightenment. We’re seriously considering traveling to LA, scissor-kicking John Mayer in his massive cranium, and lifting the spell he must of cast on her.

Then again, that sounds like a lot of work. And there are plenty of slooty chicks within a ten-block radius of us that we won’t have to spend gas money on or run the risk of hearing “Waiting on the World to Change” in order to enlighten them.

IT must be something about bible chicks, when they do something dirty the AWESOME factor is increased considerably….. That is why I make my wife go to church.

GREAT Job on picking her (that show is loaded with some talent, so is Chuck)
