Mike Oxbig’s NFL Picks: Week 15

Greeting Gambling Degenerates!
After twelve successful weeks this NFL season against the spread, I had a losing week last week that chipped away at our profits and resulted in my first two week losing streak. In a year where I have outperformed many of the Vegas boys that devote 50+ hours a week to handicapping and selling their picks, the changing trends are enabling the books to catch up to me.
With that being said, I feel it’s that time of the football season when I have to switch up
my handicapping theory and rely less on team stats and more on team motivation. OK, maybe that time of the season began two weeks ago…but its better late than never to switch gears and catch up with the ATS trends.
To do so, quality handicappers need to ask themselves the following questions (and answer them correctly):
- Which shitty team is going to give up 48 points a game the rest of the way out?
- Which team has no hope of going to the playoffs but is dangerous enough to fuck up someone else’s season?
- Which team is on the playoff doorstep and is gonna piss it away by not manning up and beating the teams they are supposed to beat?
- Which team is gonna take their foot off the accelerator and coast, allowing back door cover after back door cover?
- Which team is going to make a statement and roll into the playoffs working like a Swiss fucking watch?
These are some of the questions I should have focused on more in the last two weeks, while relying less on the numbers. Unfortunately, I didn’t. But like I said before, better late than never.
Also, I will be cutting back our plays drastically and upping our units.

Lots of hating going on… He’s 1 for 1 so far. We’ll see how the rest of the games play out. Tuff time for picking games though, you never know what team will show up this time of year.
