15 Reasons It’s Good To Be A Clippers Fan

OK, Clippers’ fans. Things didn’t go as expected with Elton Brand. He scorned your team and pissed all over your fantasy of the West Coast Big Three (which we were already referring to as the Medium Three so we’re equally bummed). But do not fret. There are still plenty of reasons it’s good to be a hardcore fan of LA’s second favorite pro basketball team. 15 to be exact…

1) USC Football is awesome.

2) The Dan Dickau Clippers jersey continues to be the most underrated jersey buy in the league.

3) If the NBA were the stock market, analysts would forever be complimenting the Clipper’s ability to keep costs down.

4) Signing Atlanta’s Josh Smith will in no way parallel the Dodgers signing Andruw Jones.

5) Now that Entourage has taken a turn for the worst you can claim you never wanted them filming at one of your games anyway.

6) There’s no way the NBA will allow first round draft pick Eric Gordon to wear a t-shirt underneath his jersey in the pros. Crisis avoided.

7) With the Clippers not standing a chance in the West you’ll have plenty of free time to catch films with substantial Oscar buzz.

8 ) It’s impossible for Mike Dunleavy to get less charismatic.

9) Brandon Jennings — the high school phenom who’s going to play in Europe for a year rather than go to college — will probably be available when the Clips pick in next year’s draft. He’ll have upside AND Euro tendencies. That’s what we call a draft dual threat.

10) You still don’t have to worry about the douchebags from The Hills showing up at your games just to get on camera.

11) Shaun Livingston should be back to 100% in no time.12) You can take comfort in knowing playoff games won’t interfere with Baron Davis producing indy films.

13) When you have Chris Kaman on your roster you’re never short on comedy.
