How fitting is it that Booth and SMac will have this beat to rock to the entire time they’re in Philly this weekend? Now if Boothy can only successfully talk Danny Devito into riding Palace for us…

Seriously, the Fall is the fucking best isn’t it? When we’re not counting down the days to football season or wondering whether The Dark Knight can really be as kick ass as we expect it to be we spend the rest of our time feeling bullshit about how much TV sucks during the summer.In what other industry can you completely mail it in for an entire quarter and not suffer any consequences? What if your job was like summer television? What if you could just resend old emails and pass them off as new work for three months out of the year? What if whenever you ran out of ideas you could just Americanize something someone in Japan did?

That’s the world we want to live in. Fuck.

Sorry for the rant. We’re hungover and we’ve already read Phil Steele’s magazine like fifteen times. An afternoon of drinking and watching the first three seasons of Always Sunny may be in order.
