maintaining awesomeness
one day at a time

Rarely do we use a video to intro H Day, but in the case of Food Network’s Aida Mollenkamp it’s necessary. Not only are photos of Aida limited on the web, there’s also something undeniably tantalizing about this promo. Maybe it’s the brevity. Maybe it’s the angles. Maybe it’s the incorporation of food. But whatever it is it kind of makes us want to plot the accidental death of anyone she’s dating.

Part of what this segment is all about is identifying pretty ladies in all walks of life so that our audience is fully versed in the art of objectifying women. We try to be cutting edge. And while Aida is relatively unknown right now, each time we rewatch the fifteen seconds above we become more convinced she’s on her way to becoming the Erin Andrews of the food world. Foodies like our boy Toast need to go ahead and plan on experiencing Costanza-esque food arousal early and often in the near future. Get excited.

Fun Facts on Aida:

  • Countless emails have flooded into Food Network inquiring just how “interactive” Aida’s series is going to be.
  • She graduated from Le Cordon Bleu Paris, which is probably supposed to impress us but instead just makes us want to take a trip to Arby’s.
  • Multimedia of Aida on the world wide web is currently scarce but several internet think tanks have already estimated it will grow exponentially over the next year thanks to losers just like us.

Happy Hump Day!
