Case Of The Mondays: Some Things Do Live Up To The Hype
July 21st, 2008 by NextRound
What we learned from the weekend that was…

Some Things Do Live Up To The Hype. The Dark Knight is one of them. Epically awesome. We did experience some discomfort when we refused to get up to go to the bathroom. Warner Brothers can expect a lawsuit in the future if we develop any sort of kidney problems.
Greg Norman Just Wanted to Firm Up His Legacy. An entire generation of sports fans have never experienced Greg Norman’s inability to close on a Sunday. Luckily for them the Shark restored balance to the earth yesterday by doing what he does best (outside of making killer golf shirts). And here we already had our Chris Everett Theory mapped out and everything.
Jason Taylor Doesn’t Find “Redskins” Racially Offensive. We’re not sure the NFC East is going to be as good as everyone thinks, but the division certainly won’t be hurting for storylines with Jason Taylor now on the Skins’ roster. We are talking about two potential elevator pitches by Joe Simpson if Taylor isn’t happy with his current representation.
Lakers Girls Are the Best. That’s it. They’re awesome.
Carson Palmer Thinks Ohio State Sucks Too. And that’s about all it takes to get yourself drafted number one overall in our fantasy league.
Chick Fights Are About the Only Thing That Can Get Us Interested in Racing. Our buddies at Busted Coverage have video footage of Danica Patrick and Milka Duno getting into a shouting match at whatever race they were at this weekend. Anyone else smell Monday Matchup?
And Corey Feldman Taps This. You’ve just finished convincing yourself it’s not a big deal that you settled on a fatty Friday night, then you find out what Corey Feldman is tapping.
