Bernie Mac Supporting Roles That Made Movies Emphatically Better
August 12th, 2008 by NextRound

Whether it was a good movie or a horrendous one, Bernie Mac had a knack for making films better. That will forever be his legacy as far as we’re concerned. Here are eight Bernie Mac supporting roles that made their respective movies emphatically better…
Friday as Pastor Clever. This two and a half minutes of Friday is where we were first introduced to Bernie Mac. The experience was profound. “Just a little bit for my cataracts.” Things get awesome (midget related) at roughly the two minute mark.
Transformers as Bobby Bolivia. When you catch Transformers for the second time on HBO you realize only Megan Fox and Bernie Mac are as good as you remembered.
Don’t Be a Menace as Officer Self Hatred. This Boyz in the Hood spoof scene is pretty much the only funny thing about Don’t Be a Menace, unless you’re a massive Marlon Wayans fan. “I hate black keys on a piano!”
Ocean’s 11 as Frank Catton. Do you get as bullshit as we do every time you sit down to a blackjack table and you’ve got some stiff for a dealer who’s not Bernie Mac?
House Party 3 as Uncle Vester. If you’ve seen House Party 3 (have we? we don’t remember) the one thing you have going for you is Bernie Mac being in it. If it wasn’t for that you’d just be some loser who’s seen House Party 3.
Bad Santa as Gin. Going forward we’ll be watching the scene with Bernie and the midget multiple times every holiday season. “You got some lip on you midget.”
Booty Call as Judge Peabody. Was Bernie inadvertently responsible for launching Jamie Foxx’s career? Probably.
Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle as Jimmy Bosley. We’re happy to say we’ve never seen this flick, but we have to imagine the only decent parts are Bernie Mac and Drew Barrymore’s hotness, minus Drew Barrymore’s hotness of course.
By the way, Mr. 3000 is totally underrated. If you’ve never seen it, make it happen.

No Players Club? What about Dolla Bill? Classic! This site just lost a bit of credibility with me. RIP Bernie
