We consider the Onion hit or miss comedy since we’re apathetic towards roughly half the topics they satirize, and we normally wouldn’t post one of their videos because you have to sit through an ad first, but this mock morning show interview with an expert on how to pretend you give a shit about the election is pretty terrific.

Despite being a parody, can’t you see a lot of these tactics working? Especially the “I promise I won’t talk politics” bit. Oh, and the Phone Fakeout just became part of our everyday arsenal. Hope no fat chicks we never called back are reading this.
