Here’s an ad from the new Snickers campaign featuring Mr. T being Mr. T. We definitely wouldn’t DVR past it if it aired during Project Runway an MLB game. Problem is Snickers received some complaints about the ads being homophobic (nuts reference?) and pulled them after a short run in the UK. A shame really. Mr. T in small semi-psychotic doses is the best.
We know we aren’t the ones who get to determine when the line has been crossed between humor and homophobia, but we probably should be. This commercial is funny AND stars B.A. Baracus behind a candy bar machine gun. We only smell awesomeness. Snickers, you’re officially on notice.
