Hump Day: Adriana Lima Is The Underrated Angel

We read a headline the other day on some really hardcore and not-at-all girly gossip site about Adriana Lima guest starring on Ugly Betty. The piece of information in no way inspired us to watch Ugly Betty – what the fuck is that show about anyway? ugly people in the future? — but it did motivate us to google Adriana since we felt we needed a reminder of how GD hot she is.

It’s long been our belief (long = as of this morning) that Adriana is the most underrated Victoria’s Secret Angel. Heidi Klum, Marissa Miller, and Alessandra Ambrosio tend to get the majority of the headlines while Adriana quietly goes about her super hot business, flashing her world class “do me” eyes in photoshoot after photoshoot. Her being Brazilian is just the icing on the cake, because as SMac always says, “Brazilian chicks love Americans because they think we’re rich. And compared to them, we are!”

Maybe Adriana’s lack of notoriety has something to do with the fact that she’s engaged to Serbian NBA player Marko Jaric. He was traded to the Memphis Grizzlies over the summer and being at all linked to the Grizzlies will make just about anyone seem less relevant. Or maybe it has something to do with the fact that she claims she’s a 27 year-old virgin. Hard to say.
