Here’s a lesson to all you big girls out there. Always know your stage. Whether it be a side table, box springs, or the counter at the local ice cream parlor, if you plan to sing from an elevated position, make sure your stage is structurally sound.
How long did she keep rolling on the ground like that? Ten minutes? Hour and a half? Was that out of embarrassment or could she just not get up? Was she even surprised that the table gave way? Her “Ah, that hurt” didn’t seem all that surprised. Maybe halfway through she realized her singing voice wasn’t going to cut it and decided to go the comedy route.
