With every new year comes a fresh crop of emerging Hollywood actresses looking to go from “gets an occasional stalker” status to “horny dudes around the world Google my name” status. Here are our ten picks to make the leap to the big time in 2009…

Isabel Lucas

Isabel will be playing the other hot chick in this summer’s Transformers sequel. If Michael Bay knows what’s good for him he’ll have written in a shower scene for her and Megan Fox.

Rachel Nichols

Big, big year for our girl Rachel. Not only is she playing Scarlett in the upcoming G.I. Joe movie but she’s also in the new Star Trek flick. She’s going to have to hire an assistant just to comb through all the fanboy mail.

Malin Akerman

Malin is best known (by us) for coining “Cock me!” in The Heartbreak Kid, but 2009 should be her breakout year with a leading role in Watchmen as well as starring in the comedy Couples Retreat with Vince Vaughn and Jason Bateman (two dudes we desperately want to have a beer with).

Sarah Roemer

You may remember Sarah as the chick Shia LaBeouf guilted into making out with him in Disturbia. She’ll star in a few new films this year, including one about cheerleading camp (hint: she plays a cheerleader).

Moon Bloodgood

This Korean/Irish/Dutch actress has specialized in sure-to-be canceled TV shows over the last few years but is looking to become a far more mainstream boner inducer in 2009 with her role in the new Terminator movie.

AnnaLynne McCord

Ms. McCord is the ring leader of the super skinny bitches on the new 90210. She’s also quickly making a name for herself in the celebrity blogosphere by proving to be the opposite of camera shy. Oh, and she’s in that cheerleading movie too.

Zoe Saldana

You may remember Zoe from Drumline (we don’t), but 2009 should be the year she breaks out starring as Uhura in Star Trek and having a big role in James Cameron’s 3D IMAX flick.

Maggie Grace

You may remember Maggie as Shannon on Lost. J.J. Abrams continues to receive one email a week from us asking him to clarify his reasoning for killing her off (scared to answer a simple question, J.J.?). Thankfully Maggie is resilient and has several films lined up for 2009 (the one with Liam Neeson looks pretty bad ass).

Katie Cassidy

The daughter of David Cassidy is rumored to be the only person cast in the long anticipated discussed Dallas movie and will also be starring opposite Harry Hamlin (!) in CBS’s spring replacement, Harper’s Island. Even if neither of those work out there’s enough talent in those genes to pretty much guarantee all sorts of fame.

Amanda Righetti

After small roles in just about every FOX and CW show imaginable, Amanda is now a regular on CBS’s The Mentalist and will be starring in the new Friday the 13th remake.

And there you have it. Should make ‘09 much easier from a virtual stalking perspective.
