We just caught this parody video (we think it’s a parody) featuring Kevin Bacon over at Funny or Die and we must say it’s about impossible to not spend the whole time you watch it trying to determine if Kevin Bacon is cool or not. He comes off as a bit of a spaz, but at the same time you have to appreciate his enthusiasm for his own last name. And the move he pulls on the Canadian chick at the end is all kinds of awesome.

On one hand it’s nice to see a Hollywood star (?) with a pension for self-deprecation, but on the other hand this dude takes his band with his brother way too seriously. The only sure fire way to push Bacon over to Awesometown would be for him to go in on some sort of endorsement deal for the What Would Bacon Do? board game.

As a side note, anyone else hear that a Footloose remake starring Zac Efron is in the works? We shit you not. Kenny Loggins must be rolling over in his grave. What? Kenny Loggins isn’t dead? You’re sure? Wow. Regardless, Kevin Bacon taking a cameo role in the remake with the sole intentions of inserting some sort of innuendo suggesting that Efron is into dudes is the other way he could officially become awesome.
