Hump Day: Rhona Mitra Wants You To See Her Underworld

Rhona Mitra had us at the moment she made out with Kelly Carlson in the third season of Nip/Tuck. We’re not sure if it was her killer British accent, her superb front court, or the fact that she was sucking face with another pretty lady, but something about her just did it for us.

Rhona’s made a career of hopping from supporting role to supporting role in assorted television series and films, but this Friday she takes the lead in the third installment of Underworld, which could be categorized as a “cash grab” by some, seeing that it’s an unanticipated prequel that doesn’t involve the original star or director. Semantics aside, we’re pretty stoked for Rhona’s emergence from relative obscurity. But that has more to do with her aforementioned accent and superb rack than it does our the Underworld franchise.

And did we mention she used to be a Lara Croft model? Yeah, kind of awesome. We know.

Fun Facts on Rhona:

Not only was she in Hollow Man, but her character got killed by Hollow Man.
Growing up she was expelled from two different all girls boarding schools. Our imaginary reasons for her expulsions are probably way cooler than the real reasons.
She was one of Scott Wolf’s love interests in Party of Five, which is pretty funny. Because he’s gay.
On Nip/Tuck she played a psychotic detective whose brother was a serially killing eunuch. Things got weird.
