We haven’t ordered non adult film related pay-per-view since we were in middle school, but that may change now that Mickey Rourke is in talks to make an appearance at Wrestlemania. Here are the basics via Access Hollywood:
Rourke will be participating in WWE’s “Wrestlemania 25” in Houston on April 5.
“The boys from the WWE called me and asked me to do it,” Rourke told Access Hollywood. “I said, ‘I want to.’ I’m talking with [WWE legend] Rowdy Roddy Piper about it…”
“Chris Jericho, you better get in shape,” Rourke added. “Because I’m coming after your a**.”
Is there any doubt that a Rourke/Piper tag team would be the most formidable duo since the Road Warriors? We’re getting goosebumps just thinking about it. That either of those guys is still breathing — let alone both of them — is a true testament to relentless awesomeness. Talk about role models. Houston area escorts beware.
Oh, and the Jericho call out was icing on the cake. Bet Rourke eyes him up at Wrestlemania, compliments his outfit, and asks him if his husband wrestles.
