We have a policy where we don’t watch awards shows unless they have “AVN” in the title, so we didn’t catch the Golden Globes last night. Regardless, we feel safe in concluding that Ricky Gervais was the only awesome part of the show. The quality of this video sucks but luckily it’s not a clip of boobs or anything.
Gervais may ad lib better than anyone on the planet. Plus he’s got the built in advantage of the British accent. That’s like having a rim shot delivered after every line.
If you’re interested, you can find the Golden Globe winners here. Nothing too atrocious sticks out after glancing over it. Nice to see 30 Rock and In Bruges getting their due. What’s the over/under on number of hookers Mickey Rourke had in his room at one time last night? 5? 6?
