We don’t know anything about New Zealand that we didn’t learn watching “Flight of the Conchords”, but this somehow feels par for the course. Via the Telegraph:
The court getaway was foiled when the pair ran either side of a lamp-post, apparently forgetting they were still handcuffed together.
Security staff arrested the hapless prisoners as they struggled to their feet.
The escapade was captured by a CCTV camera at Hastings District Court on New Zealand’s North Island.
If only the show “Prison Break” had been this intriguing. From what we could tell it was all about dudes tattooing each other.
