Here’s the five minute opening sequence to Watchmen. It does a pretty spectacular job of providing backstory in an efficient, captivating manner without coming off like it’s trying too hard.

Kind of sucks it’s not in high quality, but we’re pretty sure you’re not even supposed to be able to view this in the States so quit your bitching.

Did you know Denny from Grey’s Anatomy was the one who shot JFK? No? Us either.

That clip made me want to go see the movie even more than I wanted to before. Despite the hype, critics need to admit that the visual elements of Watchmen are seriously unreal. It is a beautifully made film, even if it doesn’t follow the novel exactly as fans would have hoped. This video has different reviews of the film (http://tinyurl.com/d4odpj) and even though most of them are negative, I don’t think it will deter people from going to see the movie.

nice work Zack Snyder. Pulling the camera out on a still shot, recreates the inanimate joy of reading the comic. Add some Bob dylan music and it’s cinema heaven!
