DeVito was on Letterman last night and of course Dave asked him about his proclivity for giving morning television interviews while intoxicated. Here’s Danny’s colorful explanation.

We prefer the version where he’s always piss drunk at dawn, but regardless, kind of hard not to love the guy for how open and accessible he is. If DeVito’s not in your top ten “dude’s I want to have a beer with before I die” then your list sucks balls.
