Bored to Death is HBO’s new comedy set to debut in September. It stars Jason Schwartzman as a failed writer who decides to moonlight as a P.I. based on his love for detective novels. And while we’ll probably always be lukewarm to Schwartzman, the supporting cast (Zack Galifianakis, Kristen Wiig, Parker Posey, Ted Danson) is like a Voltron of underrated talent.
Here’s to new HBO comedies like this one and Eastbound continuing to strive to be slightly more ambitious than Entourage. It’s for the good of the nation.
And remember when Zack G made that Three Men and a Baby reference in The Hangover? That was awesome.
